One of the most bizarre motoring creations ever to turn a wheel, the Dutch Vandenbrink Carver, which later became the Carver One, looks like a cross between a mobility scooter, a golf buggy, a motorcycle and a microcar. With its enclosed body, three wheels and two seats in tandem, the Carver has an unusual configuration, but things are made even more odd by the fact that the car leans to crazy angles whenever it's asked to negotiate a bend.
As with most such specialist cars, the biggest hurdle with the Carver is its cost - it's priced at around £30,000 despite its lack of usability.
