Starting out as Morris Garages in 1923, MG offered sports cars and sporting saloons for most of its existence. The last sports car it built was the MG TF, previously known as the MGF before it was facelifted. The model died in 2004 when MG Rover went bust and it was later resurrected, but it wasn't competitive because it was too costly the second time round.

More fun was the rear-wheel drive V8-engined Rover 75, rebadged as the MG ZT 260 but with very discreet looks. The brand is back once more however, so far with the MG6, but with more models to follow.
