Only the third car maker of note to have come out of Sweden, after Saab and Volvo, Koenigsegg is one of the few supercar makers to take on the established elite and compete, if not win. There have been a variety of derivatives offered, but all have been based on the same basic model - the Koenigsegg CC8S.

Phenomenally fast, expensive and exclusive, production is limited to just 25 or so examples per year, since 2002 that number being shared between the CC8S, the CCR, and CCXR, the latter set up to run on biofuel to give over 1,000bhp.
