When it comes to heritage, few car makers can compete with Jaguar, which has long produced beautiful saloons, coupés and convertibles. The company built its first model in 1922 when it was known as Swallow Sidecars, but for many years the company's design was stuck in the past.
The arrival of the Jaguar XF in 2008 showed that at last there was a new design language, and while this executive car was universally acclaimed, the appearance of an all-new Jaguar XJ in 2010 led to a mixed reception. One car that everybody loves though is the sensational Jaguar XK, and its supercharged stable-mate the XKR.
