You could be forgiven for never having heard of the AMS Murtaya, which arrived in 2008 and which has featured a very low profile ever since. A massively fast two-seater roadster, the British-built Murtaya is also surprisingly affordable despite the performance on offer. Fitted with a pre-2004 Subaru Impreza WRX engine and drivetrain, the Murtaya is offered in three forms - Road, track-ready Lightweight or competition-spec Race.
Capable of 0-60mph in just 3.5 seconds or so, thanks to the 320bhp on tap, the Murtaya deserves wider recognition but is unfortunately unlikely to ever enjoy it.
