This, er, 'jazzy' purple and cream open-top fastback is the Flajole Forerunner. Created by American automotive designer Bill Flajole, it's his one of a kind vision of the future - a period conversion built back in 1955 - and in the looks department at least, is the antithesis of the car it's actually based on.

I own a 10 year old all singing and dancing S type Jaguar and that thing above is not a Jaguar but a bad American nightmare.
