All version get stop-start technology to help improve fuel economy and reduce CO2 emissions, although in the V40 Cross Country, the most efficient engine - the D2 turbodiesel - is slightly less green than in the R-Design. It'll still return a more than respectable 74.3mpg combined with a road-tax exempt CO2 emissions output of 99g/km.
