The V40 Cross Country makes its debut at next week's 2012 Paris Motor Show and goes on sale in early October. Deliveries commence in early January next year. Prices for the Cross Country are expected to start at around £22,000, with a £2,000 price premium spec-for-spec over the standard V40.

Not my scene, but looks better than most and being Volvo it will be safe and well put together, unlike Land Rovers

Perfect for fans of the rather pointless. Visually, it's a copy of the Junkbox, and since it is illegal to take a motor vehicle more than 15 metres from a public road without permission of the landowner, its most difficult task in the hands of the average driver will be parallel parking.
