Vauxhall city car to be called Adam

Would you Adam and Eve it?......a Vauxhall Adam.......sounds like something the Chinese would build and name. .....This type of thing is very common in the car industry. They make a small car  like the Corsa for example and then with each successive generation of the model they make it bigger and bigger until in the end, then they have to make another small car because the original is no longer classified as a small one. Not sure people will chose this over say a Fiat 500 though, which is a retro design, or indeed the VW offerings as lets be honest, Vauxhall do not exactly have a strong reliability record do they, but then again, they target the fleet market so they will probably sell a few of them.

Also, the previous version of the Ford KA has become a bit of an old biddies favourite, most of them I see are driven by grannies ( including by my own granny ), but not sure they would drive a car called Adam! - interestingly enough, the new generation of the Ford KA is?.....yes you guessed it, bigger than the last so, within a few generations, Ford will be announcing a new small car........

Okay so they have named it after Adam Opel who  started the company so I wonder if Ford will  be bringing out a Ford Henry, or Mercedes a Mercedes SL Carl.....and imagine if the Japanese got involved......We would then have the Toyota Sakichi, the Nissan Masujiro and so on. Could be the start of a whole new car naming thing.....

@David Collings: The current Ka is bigger than the old one? Are you sure you're not looking at the new Fiesta? The new Ka is at most the same size as the old one, if not smaller. In fact, its probably about the same size as the Fiat 500 and in fact, I've found myself confusing the two from a distance.
