The other GT40 to be offered at the forthcoming sale in California is a 'time-warp' 1967 GT40 mk1, said to be one of the lowest mileage GT40s in existence, according to RM. With a paltry 4,749 miles on the clock, it's finished in the traditional white with blue stripes colour scheme that became a fast Ford signature in later years.

I was fortunate to drive and ride in Peter Sutcliffes GT 40, we met at Snetterton in Norfolk and when he raced in Rhdesia, he took me for a ride on the track andlater let ne drive, wow what an experience I have never forgotten it.

Get a Mondeo !.
As a Mondeo fan I can see the clear lineage here.
Obviously the Mondy IS more advanced AND has a Hatch Back.
Perhaps the GT 41 will catch up.
