Slovenian supercar gets Salon Privé debut

Super-posh car show Salon Privé has announced it will host the UK debut of the Tushek Renovatio T500, Slovenia’s only supercar.

MSN Cars has covered the Renovatio T500 in a full gallery already, but to recap this is a 450hp mid-engined exotic that can reputedly hit 62mph in just 3.7 seconds.

Power is courtesy of a 4.2-litre Audi – similar to that used in the RS4. The dramatic performance is enhanced by the use of what’s described as racing car technology in the Tushek’s construction, helping keep weight down to just 1,090kg.

Top speed is rated at close to 200mph.

The company has plans to build just 30 Renovatio T500s in total, so to see one at all is a rare treat. Pricing starts at €300,000 – which is around £235,000.

Salon Privé runs from Wednesday 5 September through the Friday 7 September, and ticket cost from £195. But that does include lobster and champagne, an English afternoon tea and access to all areas.
