It's hard to fathom how a car as extraordinary as the Mercedes CLK GTR could be made even more astonishing - designed and built in just four months, it dominated its first season of racing, beating the McLaren F1 and the Porsche 911 GT1 in the process. Yet this is one of only 25 road-going versions, and it's very special indeed.

When you see some of the prices on here for various supercars I think that this Merc was actually cheap.
In relative terms that is - I know that $1million is a lot of money full-stop, let alone for a car.
