These "in-house" tuner-cars are ALWAYS very high-priced - the whole point of the GT 86 was for a new generation of younger drivers to get used to a car where BALANCE meant more than POWWWWERRRRR!! - and STILL, I think they failed - the car weighs 1250Kg, apparently, and has ABS - a good Drivers' car should be under 1,000Kg, with NO ABS, so that the driver can FEEL the brakes working.

      I just CAN'T for the life of me see the ruddy point of super-stressing a 2-litre four-pot engine, when you could have taken out the 4-cylinder engine and fitted a light, all-alloy V6, such as the 3.2 24Valve beauty that Alfa-Romeo have been making since the 164 - the complaints about the GT 86 are a lack of low-down torque and that it has to be kept near the red-line.

    Also, look at that ton of junk, i.e. the ENGINE, living IN-FRONT of the front suspension turrets - APPALLING weight-distribution,​ Much?  My 1991 Alfa-Romeo 75 Twin-Spark has SOOO-much less weight in front of the pick-up points, and that is why they are used at a Nurburgring racing-school.
