The 3.7-litre V8 HDi FAP turbodiesel engine drives the rear wheels, delivering 600bhp. It is boosted under acceleration by energy from the electric motor, which uses stored energy to produce an extra 80hp (and an instant shove of torque). As the car weighs just 1,100kg overall, performance is likely to be superb.

Nice concept but wake up & smell the clutch fluid!! It's a Peugeot !! ..hardly the most reliable transport on the roads, the clutch will be gone in a couple of months!!! There's 5 grand of your hard earned!!

Peugeot have always produced superb concept cars and rally / race cars (LeMans), I even like the concept of the interior, but it is a concept car and probably will not be produced - shame.
