No images of the interior have been released yet but Ford says the EcoSport will deliver the high 'command' driving position expected of an SUV. Mays also promised contemporary standards of craftsmanship, quality and refinement inside too.

I LOVE it ...
It doesn't look any more like any other car, than all cars on the road.
Trends dictate the shape/colour etc of cars.
Oh yes, and the government trying to persuade us all to drive small cars with no style, no power and NO I won't be driving one , thanks!
There hasn't been a totally exclusive looking car for 50 years.
I used to drive a Kuga ...and believe me it's nothing like the Qashqai, which is one of the easiest to drive cars i've experienced.( On the subjest of Nissan, the JUKE is also a brilliant car )
Anyway, I look forward to Ford bringing this one on to the market and i'll definitely be putting my name down for a test drive.

Wow what a car, this car is going to make a dent in the Indian market, and everybody knows, the way the ford company offers cars to their customers, its precisely a very dynamic car, from the quality concerned ford, i presume, that engine is very excellent, because I completely believe the ford's way of making engines, because they never compromise from the point of quality and are always concerned about the customer, and that is the reason their products have a very durable and high level of quality.

Keep up the good work Ford! After all they sold millions of the Focus when it was released years ago, before the restyled edgy look, which looks great even now.

Looks like Ford are taking on the Nissan Juke, this is better looking. Fingers crossed it drives as well as others in the range.
Ford havent copied the design chap, this is the Kinetic design as used on the whole range... based on a Kuga built using Fiesta parts no doubt.
I hope they do drop the 1600cc econetic (ECO DIESEL) engine in it.. be cheap to run and congestion charge exempt then too!

what makes me laugh is that they always display the 'top of the range' without the price tag to get you hooked then steamroller you with a hefty price for a basic box which looks nothing like the nice car in the pics..... but the engine.......got to agree with Pam......Dyson spin off lol : }

In my opinion this is one of the ugliest fronts I have ever seen on a modern car - reminds me of the old "whale" (granada scorpion).

I like the front end, be suprised if that gets into production.
Been reading the other reviews, interesting.
The Kuga looks nothing like the Quasqai, and it certainly doen't drive like one, it is much better in every respect except the lead-in model price. As for the Eco Sport looking like a Kia, that's no great shock, Kia ripped the new Kuga design off for their clone, the Sportage and the (sister model) Hyundai cross over.
The Terrios has been doing the same thing (small 4x4 with a bit of kit) for years but was always a bit too small to make it really practical. The Jimmny, too basic.

When is the present run of bloated 'suv'/'crossover' type vehicles going to expire? They serve little purpose other than appealing to those who aspire to copy their peers on the school run, etc. I can remember when Simca (for the younger of you, a French marque which was eventually absorbed into Peugeot/Citroen) produced a 'fake' 4x4 when the Range Rover was new. Then there was the Rover 'Streetwise'. Both Simca and Rover were panned for these 'cosmetic' horrors. Now it seems that the market is ready to accept extra tin and plastic in the name of 'fashion'. Woeful!
