I can only come to the following conclusion:
1. The government is not telling the people the whole truth about the causes of global warming
2. The motor manufacturers have information that negates the government's propaganda
3. The government are getting bribed
4. That global warming is not a real threat and that the government is using the threat of global warming simply to extract more money from the taxpayer.
How on Earth can some of you moron's say this is a car for chavs? Where I come from a chav is someone who hangs around fast food outlets in a corsa or 106 and spits more than a professional footballer. I would be amazed to see them cruising around in a £93k car. Anyone who slates this car is either incredibly jealous as they will never be able to afford one or never had the pleasure to drive a BMW. I certainly cannot afford it and drive a much older smaller engine BMW and I would never consider getting a different brand.
This is the M6, people! It's expensive. It guzzles fuel. It's supercar fast. It's not for everybody, but then nor is it supposed to be. This car will account for less than 1% of BMW's sales by volume. It's clearly aimed at the well-heeled performance enthusiast.
If you want a frugal, sensible, 'affordable' car that isn't short of grunt, take a look at the 320d. It's BMW's most popular model.
P.S. The M6 looks a little less chavvy in silver, black or deep blue. The 'Dale Winton Orange' paint isn't compulsory.
