New Aston Martin Vanquish orderbooks filling up

New Aston Martin Vanquish orderbooks filling up

Orders for Aston Martin’s new Vanquish have already been placed, just days after the reveal of the new V12-engined supercar.

High-end car experts are predicting a big demand for the new Vanquish and that the vehicle will be one of the most popular models yet to wear the winged Aston Martin badge.

A customer of Bridford – a finance company that specialises in the funding of luxury car purchases – will be among the very first names to grace the logbook of the new £189,995 Aston Martin.

Company owner, Tim Marlow: “I received a telephone call from a client saying he had been to the Aston Martin factory and had placed an order for the new Vanquish and to put us on standby to arrange the finance.

“We are approaching a period where there is going to be plenty of interest in prestige cars because of the new models being launched.”

With the Goodwood Festival of Speed scheduled for this weekend and the British Grand Prix at Silverstone at the beginning of July, it is predicted that even more interest will be created in the latest Aston.

“We experienced a similar situation a couple of years ago when Ferrari launched the 458 Italia and Bentley the Continental GT, so we expect the Vanquish to follow suit,” added Marlow.

“The buzz surrounding a car when it is unveiled is usually a good barometer of how big a success it is likely to be and given the strong interest we have already seen for the Vanquish, it could be one of the most popular models for a long time.”

Aston Martin: why its future is bright

The new Vanquish will replace the current DBS model as the firm’s flagship vehicle – all 77 examples of the £1.2 million One-77 hypercar are now sold – and boasts a naturally aspirated 573hp 6.0-litre V12 giving 0-62mph performance of 4.1 seconds.
