Aston Martin has improved the torque output of the V12 engine. It now puts out 457lb ft at 5,500rpm (37 lb ft more than before, at a 250rpm lower rev point), which will make the car more flexible to drive. It is mated to Aston Martin's six-speed Touchtronic 2 automatic.

The Aston, is to in your face. A bird puller. The girls would be all over you,
every time you went out: say down to the shop for a pint of milk, and the
Beano: they would spot you in your flash car, and you would`nt stand a chance.

Considering this is one of the few British marques remaining, why was it felt necessary to have promotional photos of this car shown in left-hand guise? Yes, it's likely that most purchasers of this beautiful model shall be from abroad but, for goodness sake, let's promote it proudly as being from here and built to drive through our wonderful towns and countryside and not have the world assume that we're purely selling the image of a Britishness that is something different from what we are and have. Also the colour is hideous!

Why class this as a supercar ? Its far more sophisticated and serene than any current so called supercars 'out there' Its about class, refinement and selectivity and being British..
Its an Aston Matin ! Say no more !

Oh my life, I'd sell the house (if the hubby would let me) for this car. Had a Vanquish in front of me the other day, bloody gorgeous, worth every penny.
Slightly worried about some of the other comments though,
Sod the colour, its an Aston Martin
0 - 60 in 4 secs, so what? You don't buy an Aston Martin to tear up and down the high street like a prat
It may not be as reliable as a 1970 Morris1000 but its a completely different driving experience.
Who cares about the boot size, if you can afford this car you can afford to have your shopping delivered.
Please please let me win the lottery and this is the first thing I'll buy

We don't have much of an industry left in anything these days but we can be proud of Aston Martin who still make cars in Britiain - for the very elite who can afford them and in small numbers.
The CEO is German. The CFO is German. The CCO is from the Netherlands.

Very nice car , makes you wonder why Britains car makers went from around 200 in the early 20th century to a handfull today , & most of them are just factories where foreign parts are assembled ! . Would love a car like the Aston , but crappy roads , 70 limit , crippling insurance , jealous folk damaging it , silly depreciation , and a 100 other things on a older - wiser head says NO . SSshh ! I would still love one .
