It does look stunning, but the problem for Aston is that the DB9 platform is getting a bit long in the tooth now and they are all starting to look the same. There is nothing wrong with the shape, but when you see them, it is getting very difficult to distinguish one model from another these days. The paddle shift gearbox is still way behind all the other manufacturers products and they are all a little on the heavy side considering that they are actually quite small in the flesh. Also they have four models that are all but identical apart from the engine power output ( the spread is around 40 bhp between them ) and yet the price difference is nigh on £60k so I think they are charging a little over the odds for what is actually quite an old design now. That said, there is no denying that they are a feel good car and they are very beautiful. There is no mistaking an Aston and they are extremely appealing and this one looks even more supercar than the other models. I do think they need a bit more power though ( more torque ) as the DBS can feel a little lacking below 3500 revs sometimes. You actually have to drop down a couple of gears to keep up with much lesser cars to get the engine up into the 4000 pus rev range on occasion, so maybe they should go the twin turbo route and add another 200 ft lbs of torque in the mid range and maybe another 100 bhp at the top end........ this one certainly looks like it can handle that and a whole lot more.

I Love Aston Martins, and this car is very good looking HOWEVER, this isn't really anything special, they just slightly changed the look of it for example; adding red stitching onto the seats? different coloured grill and tail-pipes? the red 'S' on the DBS badge? for 30K-40K more? its daft in my opinion.
I'd love to own one but i really wouldn't spend around 40K more.

If this were a Porsche I would say "Just another Porsche like every other Porsche.
Or an Audi,( yawn), just like every other Audi.
Fortunately its an Aston, and blessed with such genetic Aston good looks, the theory here is "if it 'aint broke, don't fix it ".
Its as beautiful as any other Aston Martin.
