Porsche has announced a Powerkit upgrade for the latest 911 Carrera S. This takes the 3.8-litre engine from 400hp to 430hp, and drops the 0-62mph time down to as little as 4.0 seconds.

Ok, so which road can all this H.P. be used on? Just to put this into perspective, some 25yrs ago, the police had Triumph Motor Cycles, 650cc twins with carbs and simple push rod engines. They did 0.2 sec slower than this for the same speed. Sorry porsche, not that impressed.
