MINI has revealed the seventh new model in its brand portfolio - the BMW X6-inspired MINI Paceman 'sports activity coupe'. The three-door SUV-style coupe goes on sale in early 2013, with prices starting from £18,970.

This thing is awful. Its just wrong from all angles inside and out. Overpriced too.

What a bloody miserable expression this thing sports. And at £18,970 I'd be bloody miserable too. Overpriced by more than a country mile. But, that's BMW.

Hollywood has an expression that is used when TV producers run out of new ideas, they call it "jumping the shark", after a truly stupid attempt to think of something new for "The Fonz" to do at the last gasp of a series.
This "BMW X6-inspired MINI Paceman 'sports activity coupe'" jumps the shark and falls flat.

it looks like mini just took an evoque 3 door, squashed it and replaced the front with the countryman front end

What is it with BMW? Every car they make looks exactly like the rest of the models.
Only maybe a bit taller or longer or wider.
Talk about designed by computer - they must type in x 125% etc.
And when does a mini stop being a mini - when it's 3 times the size of the original Austin mini.
At least they had the sense to call a bigger model the Maxi !
