Group Lotus has terminated the contract of CEO Dany Bahar with immediate effect, following an investigation into a complaint made by new owners DRB-HICOM.

The firm issued a statement saying the decision was made by the Board of Group Lotus once the results of the investigation had been received.

The firm has appointed Aslam Farikullah to replace Bahar as CEO with immediate effect.

A 51 year old University of Bath graduate. Farikullah is a permanent British resident and has headed manufacturing projects at DRB-HICOM since April 2010. He has over two decades’ experience in the automotive industry, primarily in components suppliers.
