I have bought Hyundai cars for years, and they have performed better than my previous ford and vauxhall cars. Bought an i20 6 months ago and love it - only traded my last hyundai in as I needed to get an automatic. I'm not a pensioner but I am in my 40's. I have only needed 2 warranty jobs doing in 16 years which I think is good going - I had a brand new vauxhall for 15 months and that had 4 warranty jobs! I wouldn't ever buy anything but a Hyundai now. Cheap to buy, run and insure and above all - reliable. So far they have never let me down, my last car was 6 years old and still had all its original parts, only cost £7k when it was brand new too. I don't work for Hyundai. if you're not made of money and want a reliable everyday family car you can't beat Hyundai in my opinion

I'm 27, own a Hyundai Getz, i'm not a pensioner, so that earlier comment isn't quite accurate. Also, my engine died when the car was three years old. Granted they were reluctant initially, but they put a new engine in for me. My car will be nine this year, it's starting to have other various bits go wrong, but i'll be gutted when it eventually dies. So much so, i'm contemplating getting an i20 in it's place....and no, i neither work for, nor was encouraged to make this comment x

Beasties like this learn by association and repetitiveness. Baboons are mischievous by nature. Pitty every owner of an i30 that drives it through the enclosure in the future. I wonder if repairs will be carried out by Hyundai dealers for free when people start turning up saying their cars were destroyed by a troop of baboons after having visited a safari park?

Nice little stunt, but there is a problem buying a High and Dry. They are a Korean company who have almost no European manufacturing presence and it's very unlikely that anyone in Europe will ever get a job working for them. As a nation they contribute little to the world (Aid, UN peace keeping for example) and that's apart for their appetite for dogs!
If you but a VW, viewed as a better car by Which?, you keep wealth within Europe and create jobs for Europeans. Please think about the social and financial implications of your choice.
