The red roadster is the creation of Hollywood Hot Rods, California. It features custom steel bodywork in a style similar to the company's full-size "Respect Tradition" hot rod. It's also still fully child friendly - despite the addition of a replica Hemi-V8 and dropped I-beam axle.

Oh man brings back memories of when we used to build our own go carts climb the highest hill then crash all the cuts and bruises worth it .

@ stephen Rees , it is very annoying but they are spam bots not people and MSN could stop them but for some reason chooses not to. MSN need to get to grips with these because not only are they annoying , but often turn up below stories such as missing child etc and it is sick.

It strikes me that there is a real potential here, not in these toys but in what might spring out of this.
Take one enthusiastic recumbent cycle fan and a clever minimalist designer incorporating wind-cheating bodywork and you COULD have a peddle-powered, chain driven mini "car" (?) that might maintain 10-15 MPH, keep you dry and NOT FALL OFF !.
Not for the roads, but on cycle paths, cause who said cycles HAD to have two wheels ?.
(Only BIcycles fill that criteria.)
