Former Lotus boss to sue firm?
Dismissed Lotus boss Dany Bahar plans to file a lawsuit at the High Court against Group Lotus for wrongful dismissal, reports a Swiss newspaper.
Bilanz reports that Turkish-born Swiss Bahar denies he improperly used company funds and thus plans to sue the Norfolk sports car maker.
Bahar was dismissed earlier this month following alleged reports that he used Lotus funds to refurbish his homes.
A statement reported that the decision was made by the Board of Group Lotus, once the results of an investigation into Bahar had been received.
Neither Bahar nor Group Lotus were available for comment on the speculation in the Swiss paper, and neither has publically spoken out following Bahar’s dismissal.
Lotus is currently being run by Aslam Farikullah, a 51 year old University of Bath graduate and permanent British resident.
