Fiat 500 Colour Therapy revists 1970s

A new “Colour Therapy” trim level has been added to the Fiat 500 line up – and as the picture above suggests, it’s intended to capture the spirit of the 1970s. No joke.

The Fiat 500 Colour Therapy slots into the range between the existing Pop and Lounge specifications, and comes in a choice of five colours, complimented by white detailing.

The new paints are all solid finish colours, and in keeping with the look of the thing are called New Age Cream, Countrypolitan Yellow, Pasodoble Red, Volare Blue and Tech House Grey.

Including the paint, an extra £1,000 in standard kit is fitted, comprising air conditioning, white mirror caps, white wheel trims, “poolball” gearknob and a special key cover.

Available in both hatchback and convertible bodystyles, and with either the regular 1.2-litre petrol or 0.9-litre TwinAir petrol engines, the Colour Therapy costs £800 more than the equivalent 500 Pop.

Prices start at £10,760 for the 1.2 hatch, rising to £14,510 for the TwinAir convertible. On sale now.
