Jeremy and Emily Clarkson go shopping in the Ferrari 458 Spider supercar
Jeremy Carkson and his daughter Emily have been snapped while out and about in London's Notting Hill. And, naturally, the host of the BBC's Top Gear car show wasn't taking the bus.
Instead, he'd opted to travel in a little more style, behind the wheel of the £200,000 Ferrari 458 Spider supercar.

What is the general problem here with so many negative posts, is it because the car is worth alot of money, which is considered vulgar by some in the current tough economic climate, or is it because it is Jeremy Clarkson........If it's the former, if you manage to make yourself successful in life then have nice things, that's how it works, be pleased for people don't berate them. It's a good thing, be envious fine but let it drive you to do better and be pleased for those already there. If it's because it's Jeremy Clarkson, we're all different, he may say things for a 'joke' or may say them because that's what he actually thinks but what does it matter, you can't please all of the people all of the time so be yourself and stop trying!
Why are all the people here complaining about his wage? If you actually cared to find out that Top Gear actually makes the BBC more money back from selling the programme abroad than it costs to pay him then you would not be moaning with jealously!!!
Good for him. I would love to have his job. Drive the fastest cars in the world, hang out with 2 great friends while doing it and actually get paid for it!!!
If carlsberg ever made a dad.. it would be him!
@ Beachy Head (the mad cap).....Read the article again before commenting, jesus christ its the TELEGRAPH NEWSPAPER who have asked him to test the car for thier sunday supplement. Thus meaning the newspaper have paid for the car to be tested/hired, NOT the BBC.
The BBC rarely pay to test cars on Top Gear anyway as the publicity alone in god knows how many countries the program is shown in now is worth thousands to the car makers. Also the revenue that the Top Gear brand makes is unbelievable, makes Clarksons wage look like chicken feed and its thanks to Clarkson and Williams that there is a commercial Top Gear/The Stig brand.
I would rather have my license fee spent on this program than some unrealistic soap opera waste of time/Countryfile/The f*****g One show/Chris moyles/Graham Norton (who are not funny and earn double what Clarkson does) and that little bald t*t who does the consumer shows.........the list goes on.
.
Leave Clarkson alone....
That car was £300:00 DEPOSIT and £215: 62 PER MONTH.
Leave the man be....The insurance alone is £40;00 a month, and
that`s without windscreen cover.
Envy, will get you nowhere.
I have a love hate relationship with mr clarkson. great telly and always entertaining, but if you read his books there is a real nasty, concieted, condesending snob underneath his jolly, "hale fellow well met" personality. I say that as one of those "road worker johny" persons he keeps knocking in print. He seems to consider writing 3,000 words for a living makes him some sort of expert on life. he also thinks Russel brand is a genius-so i rest my case.
Good luck to them both, what is wrong with you jelous lot.
A true Yorkshireman our Jeremy.
