Top Gear Live starts today

Top Gear Live, the road-show live action version of everyone’s favourite car TV show, has started today at the Birmingham NEC.

Clarkson, Hammond and May will be there, presenting a number of automotive spectacles, such as moped chariot racing and a car version of ‘Splat the Rat’.

They will be joined on stage by the Top Gear Stunt team, who will, amongst other things, be doing donuts in a double-decker bus and setting fire to Subarus. Well, it wouldn’t be Top Gear if something didn’t catch fire, would it?

Foremer Top Gear presenter Tiff Needell will be hosting the Top Gear Live track, on which celebrities will be briefed by the Stig before attempting to tame the Kia Cee’d in a live version of ‘Star in a Reasonably Priced Car’.

Other highlights include an appearance by ‘Queen of the Ring’ Sabine Schmitz, who will be racing in a number of high-powered cars including a Ginetta G55 and a Lada Group A Rally Car.

A full re-creation of the Top Gear studio will also be there, with the famous Cool Wall and a number of the show’s automotive creations.

Tickets start from £49. To book, visitwww.topgearlive.co.uk
