We love James Bond here at MSN Cars and, with the new Quantum Of Solace movie just out, Bond mania has well and truly hit us.
And to celebrate we decided to look back and choose some of our favourite cars featuring in the films from the famous spy's previous outings.

What a back catalogue to choose from too! Glamour and gadgets are, of course, a big part of the Bond story. As is product placement. Put these formidable powers together and it's only inevitable car manufacturers will clamour to have their metal featured and hope for some reflected glory.
Just as many regard Sean Connery as the only real Bond, Aston Martin has become intrinsically linked with the 007 franchise. And no wonder - the company's distinctly British style perfectly matches Bond's character. The classic DB5 is of course the most iconic of all Bond cars, Craig's modern Bond opting for the current DBS.

But as you'll see, Bond creator Ian Fleming actually preferred to see the spy in his own favourite marque - Bentley. But for filmgoers Bond means Aston and the series has now come full circle. In his time though Bond has favoured all sorts of cars, some chosen, some borrowed and a few taken without the owner's consent.
Ford, Sunbeam, AMC, Alfa Romeo, Mercedes, Citroen and - of course - Lotus are among those who've starred alongside 007 and just one of the reasons car fans love Bond so much. From what we've seen in the trailers Quantum Of Solace will have plenty to keep petrolheads happy too. For now here's a round up of some of our other favourite Bond cars.
