The MSN Cars team have been dazzled by a surfeit of bright lights, pretty girls and shiny metal here in Paris. But, as ever with motor shows, there's an element of guesswork involved as to what the manufacturers will actually reveal to the throngs of wide-eyed hacks. We've known some of the headline acts like the Jaguar F-type and McLaren P1 were a dead cert - but a number of cars we thought would show, are conspicuous by their absence.
Here's a run-down of the cars we had our lenses and keyboards primed and ready for at Paris 2012, but which never made it to the party...
