The best cars from the Paris Motor Show 2012 you'll soon be able to drive
Lamborghini Gallardo facelift at Paris 2012
Lamborghini has sold almost 13,000 Gallardos, easily making it the firm's most popular car ever. To ensure this continues while a replacement is readied, the four-wheel drive Gallardo models have been facelifted - enter the LP 560-4 and LP 570-4 Edizione Tecnica.
What is it?
The facelifted Gallardo LP 560-4 and LP 570-4 Edizione Tecnica have a new front and rear end design that owes plenty to the mighty Aventador, particularly from the rear. With some bold new colour combinations, the baby Lambo wants to become as head-turning as its bigger brother...
What's hot?
...and it is - it's certainly bolder and more aggressive than before, which the Edizione Tecnica takes further with special paint colours and a huge fixed rear wing. This model also gets standard carbon ceramic disc brakes but both get the incredible 'Apollo' polished matt finish alloy wheels with precision-machined polished silver spokes.

What's not?
Some design gurus are not convinced by the heavily triangulated new front end of the Gallardo. It's bold, yes, but is it too much so now? And where's the all-new Gallardo we surely should be seeing by now?
How much and when?
No prices have been announced but they won't stray too far from the £157,000 starting point of today's car. It'll be here sooner than you think, too: deliveries begin at Lambo dealers from November 2012.
Anything else I should know?
Lamborghini's previous four-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive Gallardos have looked the same. This, it seems, is to end: the firm was very specific in stressing it's the four-wheel drive cars that are facelifted here. Are the rear-drive models set to get even more extreme, then?
