The new Jaguar C-X75 is also a technological statement. Each wheel on the C-X75 is driven by an individual 145kW electric motor which are all powered by one large 19.6kWh lithium ion battery. This is awesome among the other cars model.

At last they made a nice looking Jaguar again. (That XF is unbelievably non-Jaguar looking). If they could now just make a lot of them so as I can get one in about 10 years time...

Why do people keep talking about WHEN we get hydrogen cars. Raymond Baxter did a survey on GM hydrogen cars in the 70s for BBC television on "Tomorrow`s World"

The content of the programme showed flammability tests and exhaust emmision of pure water.

At the time GM had a complete plant running on hydrogen

This supercar is very fine, but the real significance is the harnessing of the efficiencies of turbine engines. This technology will allow the making of cars which will put the Prius et al in the shade. Imagine a jet hybrid in a family car.... good performance with 100mpg possible, with none of the wastefulness of reciprocating engines. Until we can get hydrogen fuelled cars, this is the way forward. The next challenge is to make it affordable for the masses.

as its a concept car they can give what ever figures they like to make it seem amazing. i made an audi concept car earlier on in the year that did 0-40 in 4 seconds and gave off no emmisions. but when the car is put into production you see alot of the technology taken away as profit margins become more important

agree with the citroen comment but a lot of the new cars have elements of citroen. i know the designers well as they come to my university a lot to advise and the exterior designer is an ex citroen designer so the style he gave the citroens was always going to be passed on to jaguar.

Amazing! Surely, with gem cars like this the EU should give maximum backing, for using recycled materials, friendlier emissions, then maybe the price tag would be nearer to more peoples budgets, cars like this would benefit all, not just the wealthy?

IT'S NO LONGER IN THE HANDS OF BRITISH OWNERS, WHICH SHOULD BE TO MAKE BRITISH AUTO INDUSTRY EVEN MORE PROUDER THEN THEY ARE. TRULY A SHAME, BUT STILL THE BRAND AT LEAST IS BRITISH AND NO ONE CAN TAKE THAT AWAY!!!
