Went out and bought myself a nice little ford puma 65,000 miles on the clock mint condition
£1400. Had one of these a number of years ago a fantastic little car which is great to drive, ford made a big mistake not carrying on producing them. I f i keep it for 12mths i am sure to get my money back wouldnt be able to do that on a new car.

I love how people have thumb-down my previous comment which is pure sense.

I guess its the fantasists who think the be-all and end-all is your BMW's and Porsches etc, which people will never own, never afford to insure or buy, and are scared of the KIA badge becoming an exceedingly brilliant brand, who is pushing the regular established carmakers massively and beating them.

No matter, I'll enjoy driving my Kia stationwagon top of the range in lovely black and hyper silver, my Mazda RX-8 231 in winning blue which is my track day car, and my C4 Coupe VTS in Rouge Lucifer which is my everyday road car. And yes, I do own 3 cars, and im dying to add a Megane R26 to the list so long as the gaffer lets me. But she wont because she'll want my C4. no chance!

To me, the new Cee'd is one of the most exciting prospects.

I own a 2011 Kia Cee'd stationwagon after trading my 2009 focus in. Its a much better car believe it or not. It has a better interior, much more equipment for the price sold at, fantastic looks, brilliant 7 year warranty, and the Diesel engines are re-badged Mercedes engines. For a 1.6 in an estate, it has plenty of poke and has brilliant ride quality and handling.

The new Cee'd should be carrying that on, and im most excited for that car because Renault has gone all Eco-stupid scrapping everything but the Scenic, Clio and Megane, Citroen have downsized their cars but, they all look absolutly stunning.

Ford has dowsized the focus massively, you cant fit nobody in the back seats if you have your front seat all the way back (which is required if you 5'10+), i was shocked how bad the ford is for rear leg room let alone boot opening and space. Stunning interior though.

But yes, im not interested in BMW's, Alfa's and the rest because 1) Ill never buy them, 2) As lovely as they look, they just do nothing for me 3) they cost more than i'll ever want to spend on a car.

"Very clever Ford putting what amounts to Aston grill on Mondeo"  and I think the lights looks the same at the Lancer EVO..

I'm most excited about the BRZ and the GT-86, as they are exciting Japenese Cars! Don't get me wrong I love super/hyper cars but they aren't realisitic. Hopefully this will be the start of more exciting cars from Toyota, who were known for the Celica, MR2 and Supra. Not the crappy Aygo,Auris, IQ and Prius (awful, ugly, boring cars). Not only were Toyota Sports Cars fantastic machines but to normal people, living normal lives we could actually afford to buy them and keep them running :)

Why do all cars made today look as though they are built for Clarkson and Essex man?

Well done Kia they have dragged themselves from rubbish to smart very reliable brand  ,ford have every right to use aston style grill it is they who dragged them to the position they are in now and the aston front was ford design

That Aston Martin is a bit of an insult to the brand in my opinion (sorry, I know many will disagree)... The profile of the side windows are straight from a Nissan GTR, the way the rear wings step out is straight from a Bentley Continental and the alloy wheels are straight from an Audi R8 V10. No originality whatsoever...and for £330k? Idiotic.

Even if my offshore account allowed me to spend money on such vehicles I wouldn't!  Lumps of metal getting you from A to B? No thanks!
Why pay loads of money for future scrap when it`s layed on via Hotels etc!?

Interesting, the Mondeo front end is copying Aston, the NSX is a TT copy in shape, the Boxster looks nice, but will probably be much more money.  I think I'll stick to my battered Landie - easy to work on, reliable doesn't rust and is useful for pulling, these cars out of the mud!

But basically they are all styled via a wind tunnel and look the same.
