With a stonking twin-turbo bolted to its 4.4-litre V8 this X6 hits 62mph in a brilliantly quick 4.7 seconds and tears on to a 155mph top speed. An amazing feat for a hulking 2.4-tonne SUV by anybody's standard. You'll pay the price for such performance at the forecourt though, with a punishing 20.3mpg average fuel consumption.
