Racing versions of Honda's NSX are incredibly rare, which is why one super-fan began to transform a road-going version into the only competition car of its kind in Europe.

He, David Fenn, and I raced it last year at Brands Hatch in its first ever event - a two-hour endurance - and it was almost as physically demanding as the Radical had been years earlier.

The Honda had a standard manual gearbox, incredibly heavy glass (of which there's a lot) and no power steering. Panting like a dog and looking like a limp lettuce (me, anyway), David and I managed to bring it home onto podium.
