Our pick of the market for pre-owned Subarus
When the name Subaru is mentioned, the first thing that most people think of is the Impreza. Which is not surprising, because in the 90s, the Impreza brought supercar-slaying performance within reach of the average car buyer.
Drivers like Colin McRae and Richard Burns drove Impreza rally cars to overall victory at the World Rally Championship, which helped to increase the cult following of the mark. But Subaru is not all about the Impreza.
Without a doubt, it is the Impreza that hogs all the limelight, but the Japanese manufacturer has also built cars like the Legacy, which has a big following in rural areas due to its reliability and four-wheel drive. Subaru has also occasionally dared to be different with cars such as the Justy supermini and the SVX sports car.
Therefore, let us look back at the wonderful and occasionally bonkers Subarus that would make viable second-hand buys.
