Most reliable cars of the last 15 years
Reliability is a priority for used car buyers. When you’re motoring on a budget, the last thing you want to be doing is forking out on repairs. Being stranded by the roadside is hardly glamorous either.
Warranty Direct has been trying to help us avoid such horror stories since 1997. Its reliability index score takes data from 200,000 policies, balances reliability score and breakdown cost, and comes up with a huge league table.
To mark 15 years in business, it has looked at all the cars it has ever sold policies on, assessed their performance and come up with a super table: the most and least reliable cars of the past 15 years.
Here we run through the most reliable cars in reverse order, then count down the least reliable models. Read on to discover the reliability winners and losers…

I ve just been to pick up my extreemly reliable mercedes from its MOT and asked the mechanics this same question, they also collect breakdowns for Green Flag and the AA, they unanimously said the most reliable seemed to be both the vauxhall astra and the ford focus, they said as a manufacturer hondas and toyotas were all reliable. For the worst they all agreed ANY Mitsibushi. This all seems very different from Warrenty Directs findings, when I mentioned that company, they to a man hit the floor rolling about laughing.

IF YOU DON,T SERVICE YOUR CAR AND CHANGE OILS AND OTHER PARTS AFTER ALL THEY ARE MOVING PARTS THAT WEAR OUT, IF YOU DO LOOK AFTER YOUR CAR YOU SHOULD HARDLY EVER HAVE PROBLEMS.
MOST PEOPLE JUST DON,T BOTHER AND THAT IS AFTER A FEW YEARS HAVE MANY PROBLEMS BECAUSE THEY DON,T LOOK AFTER THE CARS CORRECTLY, THEY JUST THINK OH WELL AND LEAVE IT, THEN THEY END UP WITH A HUGE REPAIR BILL.
THE AA ------- ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS MEET YOUR SERVICE ON TIME AND GET IT STAMPED AS YOU SHOULD DO.
THE WARRANTY FROM THE AA IS EXCELLENT I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE, THEY ARE GREAT PEOPLE AND TALK VERY NICE ON THE PHONE, I WOULD,NT GO ANYWHERE ELSE.
GO TO THE AA WEB SITE AND CHECK IT OUT, OR GIVE THEM A CALL.
