The Nissan Qashqai  sucks big time.I have a 2012 model never again.
Citroen c4 Picasso.Thought we bought a nice people carrier but beware. It is very expensive to fix when something goes wrong.Thought buying an 08 plate would last but it was clearly someone else's problem before it ended up mine.Been off the road since august last year.Too expensive to repair.

I don't know what Mazda you were looking at but that looks like an old style which would be more in the 2 -3k range. We have a Mazda 5 sport which is great. It looks more like a Grandis and has all the added extras you could need. Pulls a load better than anything we've had before and is great for quick overtaking on our twisty roads.

ours is an 08 and I've been offered 5K in trade -in so is in budget.

Dear folks, does anyone know about Chrysler's Voyager. I am planning to buy a 2002 model. Is the maintenance cost much? Please give me a feedback. Thank you.
I have owned an Orlando for nearly 2 years now and done 16K in it. I disagree with the review in that I find the back row perfectly adequate for all but very large adults and have had more than one compliment as to how comfy the back seats are. The only downside to carrying 7 is you lose luggage space and if you were (hypothetically) picking up 6 friends from the airport you would need a roof rack. I find the car a real comfy long distance cruiser and very difficult to fault for the money. Highly recommended!

One of my favourites is the SEAT Alhambra or BMW X5. The SEAT is probably one of the most practical models out there at the minute: http://www.best7seatercars.com/seat-alhambra/
