BMW teams up with Italian styling gurus at Pininfarina for slick new coupe
Ferrari 612 Scaglietti
The UK might be knee-deep in a recession but the rich are still spending money on the same grand scale as before, if their purchases on cars are a barometer. Ferrari is one manufacturer benefiting from this spending splurge, announcing record profits for the first half of 2012. Very nice that is too for the millionaires out there, but what about us with less money to spend? Well our savings accounts won't be earning interest any time soon, so why not treat yourself to a bargain used supercar. And at these prices, they aren't half tempting...
The 612 was born to blast across continents, and with a V12 up front nudging it towards the magic 200mph mark, those countries won't take long to despatch. Styling isn't to all tastes but make no mistake this is a real Ferrari. Stretch the budget to just over £50k for a 2004/05 car.
