Gilbern Invader - Wales
Cars don't get any more Welsh than this. The Gilbern Invader even has a dragon on its grille. Gilbern Sports Cars Ltd was based in Pontypridd, Glamorgan, and built a series of compact sports cars between 1959 and 1973.
The Invader was the final Gilbern model and has a powerful claim on being Wales' best. It was a 2-door coupe with 3.0-litre V6 power and a four-speed manual gearbox. Just over 600 were built with the final cars selling for just under £2,700.
