You'll have to search hard to find a branch of motorsport that gives a bigger adrenalin rush than top-flight drag racing. Last weekend was the sport's biggest UK event of the year, with the FIA European finals at Santa Pod; MSN was there to capture the action.
Santa Pod Raceway on the border of Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire is the home of European drag racing and hosts over 50 events each year. The FIA European Finals are a highlight of the calendar with the top racers from across the continent in attendance. Click through the gallery to see how the action unfolded.

MSN you need to do your homework on drag racing! Dave's model A van runs to a set time in that it must not brake 10,9 seconds believe me the vans capable of going faster than that.. I believe im right in saying he like many others who run to the 10.90 index also run in another class which has a 9.90 second index. If youve never been drag raging people go you just dont get the noise of it through tv believe me 2 top fuelers have more horsepower (8000 each) than the whole of the Formula 1 grid and make the ground shake to the tune of a 2.1 earthquake and check the price of a whole weekends ticket compared to Formula 1 and under 16s are free upto 3 per adult
