Toyota Origin
Toyota built its 100 millionth vehicle in the year 2000. As a tribute to this extraordinary achievement, it took the odd decision to build this car, the Origin. It supposedly recreated the style and aura of the 1955 Toyota Crown - including its 'suicide' rear-hinged rear doors - but in reality the only 1950s thing it truly shared was a lack of desirability.

There are a number of current or ex full time forces who are seeing why this would be a stupid idea. Their understanding of logistics and the drain having to babysit people who don't want to be there is brilliant. I would salute you but as a civilian, that would be an insult to those in the forces.
Times have changed, and will continue to do so. There are ways to look at any time period through rosy tints and see it as perfect. Look at this board where I am able to chat to people anywhere in the world, the euphoria or worldwide communication must mean peace an tolerance. Of course this is nonsense as most such reflections are.
