When Clarkson ripped through the BBC building in a Peel P50 micro-car, he encountered newsreader Fiona Bruce in a lift. Clarkson commented on her having "quite a nice bottom", jesting that he didn't mean to say it out loud. When Bruce appeared on Top Gear a few episodes later, she slapped him for his comment and said her bottom needed "a bit of work".
