Jeremy Clarkson is on Twitter - and that can mean only one thing: even more foot-in-mouth moments. He recently posted to berate short people. He said: "Short people. When you've finished using a car, put the f****** seat back, so humans can use it afterwards."

Love or hate him If you was to ask a question.Who would be more likely to give you a truthful answer. Clarkson or Cameron?

Aww diddums! that naughty Jeremy Clarkson has been politically incorrect and has offended a few people! This weak skinned and pathetic minority have no sense of humour and don't want anyone else to have one either, god forbid! people might start thinking for themselves.

The political correctness brigade do not tolerate freedom of speech or expression, they want everyone to be as dull, grey and meaningless as they are. A small number of people being offended is a small price to pay for the freedom of speech we have fought wars for. Do not give in to political correctness.

BBC is crap, not like it used to be--------thank god for Jeremy Clarkson and his sidekicks-----makes paying a TV licence a little less depressing. just a little though!  Top gear the only decent thing the BBC produce.

One of my favourite Jezza quotes is from the US Special. ""In some parts of America they've actually started mating with vegetables" When I went to the US for this time last year, New York to be precise, that quote came to mind with the people I encountered the moment I got off the plane!

I think Jeremy is a classic example of a person saying what we all think but are just too scared to say. If he stops being so outspoken and honest then we may as well abolish free speech in this country and become a communist state!

Jeremy Clarkson is witty sometimes sarcastic, innapropriate occasionally, but thats the programme..if you get offended dont watch it..plonkers...i dont like horror films ..so i didnt see SAW 1, 2 or 3...go to any pub and youll hear inappropriate jokes...its our culture...we laugh at many things..it may be the way we cope....go get a life these politically correct idiots...,

the people that gave him a barrage of abuse regarding his dead dog are probably of the same sections of society that posted nasty comments on the death of Gary Barlow's stillborn baby, l rest my case.

Can't anyone take a joke these days? I can see where Clarkson is coming from and he makes me laugh. If you don't like him, don't watch. Top Gear isn't forced upon you, and neither is anything Jeremy Clarkson does. I think there is much greater problems in this world that we should be worrying about! Rather than getting worked up on something Jeremy Clarkson said last year. You say 'get rid of him' but like me and millions of people I look forward to watching Top Gear. Maybe you could switch over from BBC Two when it comes on? Then you have got rid of him off your TV.

Bloody hypocritical BBC PC idiots!  Clarkson sails close to the edge but is genuinely funny - even to a disabled guy like me.  Yet for years they turned a blind eye to alleged paedophilic activities from another of their presenters.  The BBC should get their priorities right.

People need to lighten up for goodness sake. He says all these things for a joke, you would have thought that most people would have got it by now.
What exactly does he need to apologise for? There are comedians out there making jokes about much more 'risky' subjects, and are saying much more offensive things. Are they being made to apologise? did the people complaining have a little giggle at first, probably.
ITS A JOKE, if you don't find it funny. TOUGH, other people do!

I'm not a particularly huge fan of Clarkson - I think he's controversial for the sake of it sometimes.  That said, it's the absolute most horrible feeling in the world to lose a pet, especially a dog, and it's classless and twattish for trolls on Twitter to abuse him over it.  Damnit, Twitter sucks.  Hate Twitter.

I personally agree with Clarkson most of us have to work for a living and get very little in the way of pensions, maybe saying they should be shot is going a bit to far though. But these knobs calling for him to be sacked, get a life it was tongue in cheek! we are all in-titled to our own opinion its a free country! why did we fight 2 world wars if we aren't allowed freedom of speech?
avatar
You've got to remember that what he said was more than just the "should be shot" part, he made a joke for the opposing viewpoint too; but the typical general public hoover up the subquote out of its context quote and have a moan about it!

You can't have an "amount" of complaints; you have a "number" of complaints!  But, seriously, why can't people just accept Jeremy for what he is, an excellent, non-politically correct journalist and broadcaster.  He's a breath of fresh air!

Looking at the car I'd say he's right! If people don't like Clarksons comments they can always turn over or turn off. These weak, pathetic thin skinned, thick headed people should grow up, get over it and get on with it. To hell with political correctness and long live individualism and freedom of speech.

Instead of complaining about his sence of humour, why not just choose not to watch ? Do you all have different channels or are just that sad and detached from reality that you feel compelled to sit and watch a man you can stand, just so you can launch another pointless trivial complaint ? I bet you are the same sort of people that take pride in complaining about other members of your community. Straight on the phone to the council when your neighbour doesnt put his bins in the right place. Go and crawl back under your stones........
