The smallest OPEC member country, both in terms of population and land mass, Qatar still exports nearly $27 billion of petroleum a year. That accounts for 60% of its GDP, and 70% of government revenues.

It also means Qatar - which will host the 2022 World Cup - has the second-highest income per capita, and the country with the world's lowest unemployment. As an added bonus? Paying 89% less for fuel than in the UK.
