It might be Sir Stirling Moss' Mercedes 300 SLR from the 1955 Targa Florio (the 722 indicates Moss' 7.22am start time) in the foreground, but 2002's sculpture celebrated the Renault marque's involvement in Formula 1 over the ages, honouring its return to the world's premier class with a then 22-year-old Jenson Button.
