New car sales remain under pressure across Europe, with only two major markets registering sales improvements in June 2012. Britain actually led the sales improvements, with a 3.5% boost to new car registrations, compared to a 2.9% rise for Germany. Things were much worse in other countries though, with car sales in Spain dropping 12.3% and sales in Italy plummeting 24.5%.
