Seriously hardcore, wide-arched Golf R 400 concept gets Beijing debut this weekend
'Space age' cars made from scrap
One man’s garbage is another man’s… transport. Wacky Brooklyn artist Yarrow Mazzetti has created a series of weird vehicles using whatever parts he can lay his hands on, from old golf buggies, to army tanks and the occasional junked car.
And he’s selling his vehicles, which “showcase his high-octane artistic vision”, for up to $100,000 a pop (£65k).
To date he has welded together a six-ton, bright orange Nemo-inspired fish tank, which is 15ft long. He has also built lady-bug themed golf buggies and a Hummer in the shape of an owl.
Other odd creations include a replica of the Landspeeder from Star Wars, while his day-to-day runabout is a replica Batmobile.
