Maybe rather than slagging him off we should think well done, envy is fine because it can inspire us to replicate success, jealousy is a very bad thing because its negative and eats away at you.

What a total bell end, but probably no worse than David B and the rest of the over priced prats we get on the media these days.
How, in all that's holy, can this idiot be deemed to be TV royalty he is just an over opinionated, thick barrow boy who happened to be in the right place at the right time for a few occassions. This is the man who turned down Britney Spears and other acts who made it very big, most if not all of the ones that he promoted were one hit wonders and the media treat him as some wonderkind!

What's envious about Cowell's collection of obscenely-priced, over-hyped celebrity status symbols? It takes the average person many years to earn the cost of one of these ridiculous vehicles. When all is said and done it can only get him from A to B just like any other car, with the added disadvantage in this case that somebody with real envy or malice will deliberately damage it! What's the point? I'd rather spend £20,000 on a car and spend the rest on giving it to charitable pursuits and looking after my family, quite honestly. But then, I'm not a celebrity with a deep-seated need to be looked at and envied!

why the hell doesnt these so called celebs ,footballers and lottery winners give some of there money to help kids who have life threatning illnesses,,there is always a child on tv or in the papers needing money for an op in the USA, £200.000/£500.000 .wont break the bank of these people,,mr cowell,rooney,and co,,how much as it cost the wags to fly to see there lot kick the bag of wind aroound,,

Why is Britian such a losers pit. People like simon cowell pay millions to the taxman in this country , thanks to their hard work. do they not deserve the good things in life?

Paul Osborne, you are totally right. He should graft that knob off his head to make an interesting feature for the bonnet of his car. Just for my amusement really. Or he could just sit on the bonnet of his car so we can look at the biggest walking phallus of them all.
