Frankie Sandford was born in February 1989 and is a singer with girl group The Saturdays.

WHAT DO YOU DRIVE?

I've got a MINI Cooper convertible at the moment, which I've had since I passed my test. I passed when I was 17 on my first attempt, which I'm still proud of!

WHAT IS YOUR DREAM CAR?
I'm definitely on the lookout for a new car though and there's a few I would like. I've always had it in my head that I want an Aston Martin DB9. For some reason you only ever see old, retired men driving them, or women having a go in their husband's. I would love to be able to say that I own one.

It's always been a car that my Dad loved when I was growing up. It was always kind of like a dream thing for him, so I guess it must have rubbed off on me.

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR IN YOUR NEXT CAR?

I like that kind of gun metal colour, or black. My car is red, so whatever car I get next, I really want it to be black.
I'm not so interested in what a car looks like on the outside, it's the inside which really excites me, which is why I wanted a MINI as my first car. I love the big circle dials and the satnav in the middle and all that kind of thing.

WHERE DID YOU BUY YOUR CURRENT CAR?
I actually bought it brand new but I wouldn't do that again. You end up losing so much money. I'm looking for a new car at the moment, so I got that one priced up. It's an 06 registration and in really good nick, but it's not even worth half what I bought it for. You can get one from a showroom and even they're miles cheaper than buying one new.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT DRIVING?

I love speed but I like it best when there are no rules. For example, I did go-karting the other day and I hated it. Quad biking too. I like the speed if I can do what I want to do but if it's all "Stay in this lane" or "Don't do that or you'll have to leave the track", then I get nervous.
